Exterior

Standard exterior features on the 2025 Malibu include 16-inch aluminum wheels that are paired with all-season blackwall tires. The Malibu has automatic halogen headlamps that respond to your surroundings without intervention. The acoustic laminated windshield makes your drive more relaxing by blocking out loud outside noises from weather or traffic.

Seating

The Malibu has 5-passenger seating, with two front bucket seats that have forward, back, up, down, and recline manual adjustments. The back seat is a bench that can accommodate up to three passengers. This bench is a 60/40 split that you can fold down on either side for more cargo room when you need it.

Tech

Inside the new Chevy Malibu, there’s an 8-inch Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system with Bluetooth audio streaming, voice command pass-through, and wireless smartphone connectivity through Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Connect your phone to the car to experience several convenient capabilities, such as hands-free calling and texting. The new Malibu has Wi-Fi hotspot capability that works on up to ten devices. This hotspot delivers internet access anywhere within fifty feet of your car!

Safety

The 2025 Malibu comes with Chevy Safety Assist to help monitor your surroundings for dangerous situations that could lead to an accident, such as following too closely to another vehicle or veering out of your designated lane. The Chevy Safety Assist package contains Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking, Following Distance Indicator, and Front Pedestrian Braking. There are ten airbags situated throughout the Malibu’s cabin, including frontal, knee, seat-mounted side-impact, and head-curtain airbags. Rear Park Assist, Rear Seat Reminder, Buckle to Drive, OnStar Basics, and Teen Driver are some additional safety functions in the 2025 Malibu.

Power

The Chevy Malibu reaches 163 horsepower at 5700 rpm and 184 lb.-ft. of torque at 2500 to 3000 rpm, thanks to its 1.5L Turbo 4-cylinder engine. The 1.5L engine works in conjunction with a continuous variable transmission. Other mechanical elements of the new Malibu include MacPherson strut front suspension, DuraLife brake rotors, and a 5.10 final drive ratio axle.
