The SUV class is arguably one of the most fiercely competitive, with by far the most entries into the class. With so many competitors, it becomes more and more difficult to uniquely stand out. Enter the 2023 Chevy Equinox, Chevrolet’s latest commitment to honoring its loyal fans.

1. Its Thoughtful Exterior Design

The acoustic laminated front windshield is made to dampen and absorb unwanted traffic or road noises so you can create your own cabin ambiance. The LED headlamps are precisely affixed to the Equinox’s front face for optimal road visibility, and these headlights have an IntelliBeam automatic headlight feature. Heated outside mirrors are a standard feature on the Equinox’s base model LS.

2. Its Ergonomic Interior

There are six premium speakers inside the cabin and there’s room for five passengers inside the Equinox. The backseat bench is split 40-60 and the seatbacks can be folded down flat to further increase the available cargo room. The center console has two USB ports and the steering wheel houses controls for the cruise control and media volume. The Keyless Open and Keyless Start systems are standard on all 2023 Equinox models.

3. Its Versatile Tech

Chevy’s 2023 Safety Assist acts as an umbrella program that commands several driver assistance programs. Some of these helpful programs include Automatic Emergency Braking, Collision Alert, Lane Departure Warning with a Lane Keep Assist, and Front Pedestrian Braking. You can opt for the available Driver Confidence II package that includes Front and Rear Park Assist programs to help you navigate tricky parking situations with ease.

The Equinox’s cabin features no shortage of technology to make your life easier, such as Bluetooth® hands-free device connectivity, OnStar and Chevrolet Connected Access capabilities, a Following Distance Indicator to help you avoid tailgating, and Wi-Fi® hotspot capabilities. You can add on several available convenience programs to the base trim LS, such as the Side Blind Zone Alert program, the Rear Cross Traffic Alert system, and the Roadside Safety Package with a first-aid kit and a highway safety kit.

4. Its One-of-a-Kind Driving Experience

The base model Equinox LS packs a mean punch with 175 horsepower and 203 pounds-per-feet of torque. The four-cylinder 1.5-liter Turbo engine is fitted with a six-speed auto transmission. The Equinox is all-wheel drive, and both the front and rear brakes possess e-boost.

Only Chevrolet could fit a captivating exterior design, an ergonomic and cozy interior, the latest and greatest technologies, and a thrilling yet reliable driving experience into a small-sized SUV.
